During the workshop, we will explore how many mosaic patterns are written and practice knitting these beautiful patterns. PreRequisites: knit, purl, cast on; previous experience reading charted knitting patterns and/or working slipped stitches is helpful. Materials: Size 8 (5mm) knitting needles, 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn, stitch markers, pen. Homework: with the lighter color of worsted weight yarn, cast on 23 stitches. Knit one row. Leave these stitches on the needles and bring it to class.
